Jack Shanfeld has over three decades of experience in real estate development, brokerage, and property management. He began his career in 1980 with The Jon Douglas Commercial Brokerage Company, a division of Douglas Emmett & Co. After leading the division in sales for several consecutive years, including acquisitions with Douglas Emmett, Jack joined Grubb & Ellis, where he continued to lead the West Los Angeles office in sales and leasing.

He eventually left to start, Metro Development Los Angeles, which specialized in land acquisition for residential apartments. Within six years, Metro acquired, entitled, and co-developed over 500 units in Los Angeles County. During the early 1990s, Jack joined Beitler Commercial Realty, where he continued his brokerage activities and development of high-end single-family homes in Brentwood, Santa Monica, and Pacific Palisades with gross sales exceeding $50 million.
 

Commencing 2011 Jack entered into an exclusive representation agreement with Decron Properties Corporation and closed over $250,000,000 of apartment transactions.

Jack has successfully closed transactions with REITS, pension funds, development companies, and high-net-worth investors. He brings a unique and vast Knowledge of real estate, not only as a developer and investor but also as an active member of the Los Angeles real estate brokerage community.
